Research seems to point to the fact that those who engages in deeper conversations with others are happier people. This is what I call a happy finding. It levels with what makes us human. We speak, we listen, we feel, we learn, we take and we give. And deeper conversations allow us to lift each other up.
Why You Need to Start Having Deeper Conversations
Conversationally, introverts prefer to dive deep. We want to know what's really going on in your head, or to talk about something interesting we've read, heard, or watched, among other meaningful topics (link is external). And, it turns out, deep talk is actually good for us, whether you're an introvert, extrovert, or neither.
